Rodney V. Smith is a storyteller. It's been his passion all of his life, whether it's through writing, filmmaking or painting. He was born in Barbados, but has called Canada home for over 25 years. He is a founding member of WebSeries Canada and has written and produced several webseries, including the critically acclaimed "Dominion" and the sci-fi adventure "Out of Time". He has also scripted and produced over ten short films and independent feature films. His novel THE CANEFIELD KILLER won the 2018 Wattys Award and is being serialized as the John Riley Mysteries on YONDER.

Van Carley is an Admin for Writers Connect, a former Wattpad Star, and part of the Creators program. When writing, she enjoys the freedom of bouncing between genres or mashing them together. She's best known for writing morally grey characters in chaotic settings and loves anti-heroes. Some of her achievements include winning the 2021 Open Novella Contest with her book Carmela + Amos, and Shortlisting for the 2018 Wattys with her book Water in a Time of Thirst.
